From the start to finish of bread making, the Zojirushi BBCC-V20 Home Bakery Traditional Breadmaker has been with me.  It has dough setting where it mixes all the ingredients up and facilitates the initial risings.  Programming the homemade setting is also very helpful.  I could control how long I want the different cycles of kneading, rising and baking to be.

It also has a delay timer but this normally works with the basic bread making setting.  This bread maker can bake sandwich bread, wheat bread and also make cakes, pizza dough and jams to go with your bread.  The double paddles make sure that all the ingredients get mixed into the dough and because of this; I find that no excess flour gets stuck in the corners of the bread maker and therefore less waste and less time of scraping those out myself in between cycles.

This bread maker has a preheat setting too.  This helps the yeast rise properly and so the end product also looks perfectly even, no lopsided or U shapes to the loaf.  Unfortunately, the when the BBCC-V20 is preheating or baking the bread, the viewing window fogs up.  I couldn’t really see what is going on and if I open the lid, the cycle stops like it was a washing machine dryer.

This machine has received very many good reviews but some did mention that it does succumb to wear and tear pretty fast.  I am not sure if it’s just the way they use or if the Zojirushi BBCC-V20 Home Bakery Traditional Breadmaker is really prone to rusting and chipping.

Another downside is that replacement parts can be a pricey. Taking other BBCC-V20 owners reviews into consideration, following the instruction manual to the letter on handling and care of this machine is a must to ensure longer machine life.  Cleaning this bread maker has been pretty easy.  With the paddles and pan coated with a nonstick material, I have never had to soak these parts for a prolonged period of time.  So far, it has been smooth sailing with my Zojirushi BBCC-V20 Home Bakery Traditional Breadmaker.
